The nautilus on the labels of RIFF wines is reminiscent of its ancient origins: Where sea creatures once inhabited coral reefs, the vines for these wines now thrive.

Where the rugged Northern Italian Alps lie, there was an ocean filled with colorful coral reefs 220 million years ago. Even today, the rock layers our vines grow on are full of hidden marine fossils which are shaped by the perfectly balanced golden spiral. This balance is what we strive for in this wine.
